How to Sample in FL Studio 24 (Free Masterclass)

How to Sample in FL Studio Like a Pro
I love keeping things simple. Sampling in FL Studio is one of those things that can feel overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a lot of fun.

Chop it Up
Now, here’s where the magic happens. Once you have your sample, it’s time to chop it. I usually start by looking for a sample with drums.
Drums keep everything in time, which makes chopping a lot easier. Use the slice tool to chop out the pieces you like. Count the music as you chop, don't rely on the metronome.

Stretch Your Samples
After chopping, you can stretch the sample to fit the BPM but sometimes, you don't need to stretch the sample.
In FL studio, hit Shift + Q to quantize your sample to the grid. It’ll help everything snap into place.

Mixing
I'd recommend sending your sounds to the mixer so that you have full control over each sample chop and drum sound. This gives you a deeper creative control over the sonics in the beat.

Thank you
